Kijani Wright is a big, physical, and tenacious 6’9 PF who always seems to have the size and strength edge against his competition. Wright is ferocious on the glass, being one of the best rebounders in all of college basketball. His positioning, footwork, and desire are unmatched on the glass. He always has a physicality advantage, but it’s his passion and aggressiveness that really separates him. Wright is a very smart player with a high IQ and great hands in the paint. Don’t look for him to be shooting outside anytime soon, he is working on an outside shot, but he still has a way to go before it is reliable. Wright’s finishing/touch around the rim will improve over time as well. While not being the greatest athlete, Wright being able to outplay, outhustle, and outwork his opponents more than makes up for some of his athletic deficiencies.
