Sharife Cooper is one of the best High School point guards I covered over the past few seasons. He was by far the best paint finisher in the country under 6'1; if he touched the paint, it was a bucket. He uses his knack for scoring to create opportunities for his teammates. He is also a lot stronger than he looks, and he uses that strength to ward off defenders as he drives to the lane. Although he's shown that he can knock down the 3ball, he must become more consistent as defenders in the lane are bigger, stronger, and more athletic.

Georgia Elite 8 Tip-Off Classic - Powder Springs, GA - 11/10/2018

Is a pure PG, he plays with a calmness where he never allowed the moment to get too big. He drove and kicked at a very high rate. He plays with great pace, as he knows when to turn the jets on and off. He can create space for himself off the dribble and he is excellent in the PnR. He can finish in the lane with contact and over size. He capped off the night by scoring 8 straight points to propel McEachern pass Holy Spirit.

GHSAA State Semi-Finals - March 3, 2019 - Buford, GA

Displayed an exceptional ability to finish in the lane with contact, very crafty as he can finish with either hand off either foot. He made floaters, runners, push-shots, and mid-range pull-ups. He also knocked down some timely C&S 3pt shots in transition and in the half-court. For him to be a shoot-first PG, he is surprisingly a better passer than I thought as he made several on target pocket passes in PnR actions and had a few draw & kick opportunities completed.

USA Basketball - Minneapolis, MN - 4/5-7/2019

Struggled to find a rhythm, I believe he needs the ball in his hands to be effective, doesn't move well off the ball. Appeared to be pressing the issue when he would touch it, I don't think he believed he would touch it if he passed it.

Tip-Off Classic - Atlanta, GA - 4/19/2019

He is explosive in the open court, gets to his spots while playing at his own pace. Good vision to locate his teammates. Small but takes and absorbs contact well to finish around the rim. Plays the passing lanes well, can get his shot off on anybody.

Nike EYBL - Emerson, GA - 4/27/2019

He is the best paint finisher I have seen in high at his size. He has the ability to get by his defender, collapse the defense and still finish in traffic. He has good touch from the 3pt line and has a nice mid-range pull-up as well. He is a decent passer but not a strong point and is much stronger than he appears physically.

Georgia Elite 8 Tip-Off Classic - Powder Springs, Ga - 11/9/2019

He came out hot from behind the 3pt line knocking 3-4 in the 1st qt. He has displayed his ability to finish in the lane with an array of finishes. He is one of the best paint finishers in the country. Doing a good job in PnR action finding teammates.

Hawks Naismith Holiday Classic - Norcross, GA - 12/13-14/2019

To start off the game he is playing slow and doesn't seem to have his normal burst. Caught fire in the 3rd qt with 2 3's and a few layups - he's passing the ball really well also.
