Summary
Jaden is an explosive athlete in transition and off the dribble, getting the rim and finishing well. He has a decent shooting percentage from the 3pt line but must work on getting his feet set to knock it down at a higher clip. He also needs to work on slowing down as he is often at maximum speed, which gets him in trouble driving to the basket. He must also work on valuing the ball as he makes careless passes and is loose with the ball off the dribble.

Notes
USA Basketball - Colorado Springs, CO - 10/11-13/2019
Quick first step, gets downhill in a hurry. Athletic finisher in and around the lane.
Chick-Fil-A Classic - Columbia, SC - 12/19-21/2019
Day 1 - Shifty off the dribble struggling to finish in the lane to start. Knocks down fluid C&S 3 from the L wing. Explodes off the dribble with to finish at the rim with 1hand dunk. Gets out in transition for another dunk. Keeping defender off balance as he creates for himself off the dribble. Lane filler dunking everything at the rim.
Day 2 - He is putting the ball on the floor attacking the paint with straight line drives. Make C&S 3 from the R corner. Make C&S 3 from the L wing quick release. Nice cut along the baseline for a up and under finish on the left side. Made tough layup in transition with the foul.

Volume Shooting Analytics:
Ivey's data is signifiant enough to evaluate his potential as a volume shooter. Based on his numbers, it is reasonable to expect he would succeed as a volume shooter. If he were to shoot 8 threes per 36 minutes, it is expected that he would shoot 42%.

This data was created by AJ Wahl by ploting each game of a player's most recent season. The x-axis represents the amount of threes taken per minute, in order to normalize for minutes played. The y-axis is simply the player's three point percentage in that particular game. The line represents the trend between a player's three point volume, and their success. A upward slope means that a player gains efficiency as they shoot more often, and a downward slope means that a player loses efficiency the more shots they take. Note that 0.2 3PA/36 is roughly 7 3s, and 0.3 translates to 11 3s. Only players with an R^2 value above .04 were analyzed, to ensure that each player has at least some correlation between their attempts and their frequency.
