Weaknesses
He can get overaggressive on the defensive end which leads him to unnecessary fouls and getting into foul trouble early on.
At times he lacks defensive discipline leading to him being easily baited into shot fakes.
His lack of defensive lateral quickness on the perimeter can make him prone to offensive players blowing by him and getting to the rim.
On the offensive end, he is limited to the interior and doesn’t take shots outside the paint.

Summary
Yves Missi is a rim-running big man who excels at finishing easy dunks and layups, making him a constant lob threat with good hands. Defensively, he is very switchable in pick-and-roll situations and serves as an effective rim protector due to his length, athleticism, and strong shot-blocking instincts. However, he can become overaggressive on defense, leading to unnecessary fouls and early foul trouble. At times, Missi lacks defensive discipline and can be easily baited by shot fakes, and his limited lateral quickness on the perimeter makes him vulnerable to quicker offensive players. Offensively, he is restricted to scoring within the paint and does not take shots from outside.

Notes
Crush in the Valley - San Pablo, CA - 1/21 - 22/2023
Ran the floor well and was a lob threat in PnR action. He did flash the ability to put the ball on the floor with a straight line drive and finish going to his right. Gets off the ground quickly as he spiked a couple of shots into the stands.
Holiday Hoopsgiving - Atlanta, GA - 11/26/2022
Control the board in the first half by having 9 in the first half and three of them being on the offensive rebound and putbacks. Did a good job protecting the paint by contesting nearly every shot at the rim. Also did a good job guarding on the perimeter in PnR coverage.
Pangos All-American – Las Vegas, NV – 6/5 – 7/2022
Showed touch around in and around the lane with several jump hooks over the left shoulder. Was active on the offensive glass with a coupld of putback dunks.
