Summary

Brandon is one of the best scorers I have seen on the high school level. He can shoot the ball with great range off the dribble and the catch, but it's not consistent as of yet. He can post you up in the mid or low post and use a fadeaway jumper to get a bucket. He likes to attack the paint off the dribble but looks to avoid contact if possible; that's when you'll see his elite footwork and finishing skills around the rim.  On defense, his long arms allow him to play passing lanes and get steals. He needs to get stronger and give consistent effort on the defensive end.

Notes

Chick-fil-A Classic  - Columbia, SC -  12/26-29/2018

Very crafty with the ball as he continued to get his defender off-balance, had a couple of nice behind the back moves to spilt traps on the perimeter. He is very long and uses long strides to slice through the defense to the rim. He shot the ball well from the 3pt line, but his shot looks a little rushed.

GHSAA State Semi-Finals - Buford, GA  - 3/3/2019

Showed good footwork as he knocked down a couple of mid-range fadeaways out of the mid-post (knocked down one off the glass). He was good in PnR actions as he made two nice on-target pocket passes for layups. He was aggressive on the offensive boards, as he gathered them to extend possessions for his team. Didn't shoot it well from the 3pt line as he missed several wide-open attempts.

Tip-Off Classic  - Lawrenceville, GA - 4/19/2019

He can create for himself off the dribble, but he needs to figure out where his spots are. He looks good in transition as he fills the lane and finishes well at the rim. Crafty getting around the contact, still very slim and doesn't like to take bumps/contact. He cuts well off the ball and gets off his feet quickly before the defense can react.

Nike EYBL - Atlanta, Ga - 4/26/2019

He has a variety of moves to get around defenders in the paint. He loves to use the euro-step or sidestep. With his length and height, he can get his jumper off over any defender. He uses his length to disrupt passing lanes. He needs to get stronger.

NBPA Top 100  - Charlottesville, VA -  6/12-15/2019

Excellent ball skills as he likes to create off the bounce. Skilled around the rim, he has the ability to finish with an array of shots. Streaky shooting it from the 3pt line but can get into a rhythm and knock shots down.
