Summary
Chris Livingston is a 6’6 SF who is a powerful and explosive athlete who has a tremendous build for his position. He’s always finding the ball on the defensive end, whether it’s in passing lanes or off the glass. Finishing at the rim is one his best attributes. Using his strength and frame to attack hard downhill and finish with a nice spin move and creative layup package. Solid passer on the move and in transition. Versatile defender who can guard 1-4 and even some small ball 5’s. Has an elite second jump when chasing rebounds or following his own miss. Livingston definitely needs to improve his shot consistency and selection to open up more driving lanes for himself. He needs to work on finishing with his left hand, as he tends to favor finishing at the rim with his right. His handle is solid but could improve more as he heads to the next level. At times, Livingston’s body language can be portrayed as negative after a bad play from himself or one of his teammates. Livingston needs to fine tune some aspects of his game, but he should be an immediate contributor to the university of Kentucky next season.
