Championship
Team WhyNot (82) vs Drive Nation (73)

The Russell Westbrook sponsored Team WhyNot won the 16U championship with thrilling 3 overtime win over Drive Nation out of Texas, 82 -73. Jared McCain the #57 in the ESPN 2023 led WhyNot with 25 points, his ability to get a basket, from inside or outside with the 3 ball. Tyler Rolison came up big scoring 20 points and grabbing 7 boards. 6’8 Ronald Holland finished with a double double had 25 and 15 in the loss, and Kenyon Lewis had 19.
Final Four
Team WhyNot defeated CP3 72-58, Jared McCain was 9-15 from the field finishing with 23 points in a win, dynamic Combine Academy guard finished 23 points, and Greg Jackson had 23 and 8.
Drive Nation defeated Team Takeover 70-66, Ronald Holland scored 21 points, going 7-9 from the field, and shooting over 60% from the free throw line. Jason Moore had finished with a double double for Team Takeover with 12 and 10.
Elite 8
Team Takeover defeated TSF 80-76 Jacoi Hutchinson finished with 17 points, DeShawn Harris-Smith contributed with 13 points. Milton (Ga) guard Kanaan Carlyle finished with 22 points and 10 rebounds, Top 100 guard Isaiah Collier had 19 for TSF.
Drive Nation defeats E1T1 60-55 Isaiah Manning and Robert Jones scored a combine 30 points scoring 15 points apiece in a 60-55 win vs E1T1, guard Edgerrin James (Son of former NFL running back) scored 25 points in a loss.
CP3 beats All Ohio Red 76-68 Aden Holloway and Robert Dillingham did the heavy lifting in CP3’s win over All Ohio scoring 21 and 16. All Ohio was led by Devin Royal’s 20 points and James Okonkwo finished with 17 points.
Team WhyNot beats The Family 70-65 Jared McClain, Kylan Boswell, and Tyler Rolison all scored double figures in the win . McClain had 19, Boswell had 16, and Rolison with 11. Jonathan Blackwell and Jamarion-Sonny Wilson both had 15 points a loss.
