2026 NBA Mock Draft - Staff Edition

We are thrilled to unveil the latest installment of Between The Lines Sports 2026 NBA Mock Draft Staff Edition! This mock draft introduces an exciting freshman class, including our #1 prospect, while showcasing notable talented upperclassmen projected throughout both rounds.

The draft order is based on Tankathon as of 4/20/2026.

As we count down to the 2026 NBA Draft, Between The Lines Sports will continue rolling out monthly mock draft updates, each offering deeper insight into the top prospects in basketball. These updates will include comprehensive player evaluations, breakdowns of strengths and weaknesses, detailed comparisons, and exclusive film analysis to provide a complete view of the next wave of NBA talent.

This edition of our mock draft was the result of an extensive, scouts-only process that took weeks to finalize. Our team evaluated prospects strictly on best player available, not team needs, ensuring the rankings reflect true talent and long-term upside rather than fit or situation. One of the biggest challenges throughout this process was navigating the evolving impact of the transfer portal, as player movement continues to reshape evaluations and projections. Despite that, we are confident that this board represents the strongest group of prospects in the class at this moment in time.
