NBPA TOP 100 CAMP - 2019

CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA - Covering the 2019 NBPA Top 100 Camp was absolutely nothing short that extortionary. It was loaded with some of the best and brightest High School Prospect from all over the country. These are a few of the players that stood out to me.

Jabri Abdur-Rahim | 6'6 SF 190 | Blair Academy (NJ) | C/O 2020

Jabri displayed his elite ability to create shots off the dribble. Knocking down deep 3 pointers, mid-range jumpers and an array of floaters & crafty layups.

Earl Timberlake, Jr | 6'5 205 Wing | DeMatha High School (MD) | C/O 2020

Earl is more of a Point Forward than a traditional wing. He is a natural facilitator, that has a great feel in Pick n Roll action. He can make the pocket & cross court corner pass. He can also knock down the mid-range jumper as well as get into the paint and finish at the rim.

Matthew Cleveland |6'6 185 SG | Pace Academy (GA) | C/O 2021

Matthew was the biggest stock riser in my opinion. He played with great purpose, making smart and decisive decision. He took and made open shots, passed to open teammates, sought out contact on drives to the paint. When it was all said and done, he walked away with several more Major DI offers.

Jalen Johnson | 6'8 220 SF | Nicolet High School (WI) | C/O 2020

Jalen is a unique talent that can score at all 3 levels on the court. He can create off the dribble for himself as well as find open teammates. He also has a physically strong frame to play on the interior as well. But what I find most impressive is his ability to guard multiple positions on the defensive end.

Paolo Banchero | 6'9 235 PF | O'Dea High School (WA) | C/O 2021

Paolo is a big strong extremely skilled combo forward. He can play inside and outside but his most intriguing skillset is his very high Basketball IQ. He plays under control, he is a great decision maker and always seems to make the right play and be in the right position.

A few other noteworthy players that I don't want to overlook. Maker Makur, Daisen Nix, Brandon Boston, Jr, JT Thor, Moussa Diabate', Chet Holmgren, Dwon Odom, Dalen Terry, Patrick Baldwin, and Michael Foster.

Until next time.....
