On The Radar - The Opening June 27, 2020 - Seniors Class 2021

Chance Moore || McEachern HS (GA) & Aim High || 6'5 SG/SF || C/O 2021 || High Major

Chance, played with extreme confidence during this event, he created off the bounce to get downhill, he knocked down shots off the dribble from behind the 3pt line. He competed on the defensive end did a good job on the boards.

Jusaun Holt || St. Francis (GA) & Team Dickerson || 6'6 SG || C/O 2021 || High Major

Jusaun played with a very high motor throughout this event, he never seemed to stop moving. He knocked down shots off the dribble and off the catch, he guarded on the ball and played the passing lanes well. This was the best he's looked in my opinion.

Ian Schieffelin || Grayson (GA) & Team Curry || 6'7 PF || C/O 2021 || Mid-Major/High Major

Ian was his usual self, competing on the offensive and defensive boards, blocking and challenging shots at the rim. And he displayed a much-improved jump shot out to the 3pt line in PnP action.

Kaleb Washington || Wheeler (GA) & Game Elite || 6'7 SG || C/O 2021 || High Major

Kaleb was in attack mode throughout this event, he attacked the rim, finished over the top of a defender with contact. Defended on the perimeter and knocked down his jumper from the 3pt and in the midrange with consistency.

James White || Heritage (GA) & Atlanta Xpress || 6'5 SG || C/O 2021 || Mid-Major/High Major

James displayed a great ability to take and make tough contested shots from the perimeter. He was also very aggressive attacking the rim, drawing fouls, and finishing with contact.

Jabari Smith Jr. || Sandy Creek (GA) & Atlanta Celtics || 6'10 PF || C/O 2021 || High Major

Jabari played with a very cool demeanor during this event. He understands what he does well and he plays to his strengths. He operated mostly out of the mid-post and elbow area, where he would square up and knock down the mid-range jumper or find cutters in the lane. He does a good job of using jabs and shot-fakes to get his defenders off balance. He also did a good job of protecting the rim simply by staying vertical.

JD Davison || Calhoun (AL) & Alabama Fusion || 6'3 PG | C/O 2020 || High Major

I saw a different JD during this event than I've ever seen before, we're all used to seeing him showcase his elite athleticism. But, during this event, he displayed an elite ability to pass the ball and run the show. He controlled the game with his pace in the open court and picked the defense apart in the halfcourt.

Matthew Cleveland || Pace (GA) & Atlanta Celtics || 6'6 SG || C/O 2020 || High Major

Matthew was the best player in this event by far, he showcased his superior athleticism as he flew all over the court, finishing well above the rim with layups and dunks. He debuted a much-improved shooting stroke from the 3pt line and a well-polished turnaround mid-range shot in the lane. On the defensive contained the ball on the perimeter, blocked jump shots on a regular basis, and disrupted the passing lanes when the opportunities presented itself.
