Summary
Anthony has the make-up of an elite wing player at the next level, he's long, athletic can handle to the ball to create his own shot, and has the build to finish with contact. He needs to work on his shot selection and decision making with the ball in his hands. On the defensive end he has great length and very quick hands, he just has to want to compete on that end.

Elite 8 Tip-Off Classic - Powder Springs, GA - 11/10/2018
It had to be the 2nd or 3rd possession for Holy Spirit when he caught the ball at the top of the key, he squared up and made a slow deliberate jab to his right, as the defender shifted his weight slighted he gave him a shoulder shimmy that sent him stumbling. He then took one dribble and dunked it with two hands. He was a fluid scorer today, he pulled up for jumpers off the dribble with range, got to the basket with little resistance, and finished at the rim while defenders bounced off of him. But, I was really impressed with the way he stretched out PnR action to assure his teammates got open shots, the shifty handle to get defenders off balance.
Hard in The Paint - Atlanta, GA - 11/24/2018
He played at his own pace with the ball in his hands. He accepted double teams and made the easy basketball play to the open teammate. Very solid mechanics from the mid-range and from 3pt line on his jumper. He was good in PnR action; making a couple of nice one-handed pocket passes to rolling bigs. He also did a good job of stretching out the defensive big on switches and firing on-point passes across to court into his teammate's shooting pockets. He used his length to disrupt passing lanes and to contest jump-shots. He caused two turnovers one on ball steal as he picked the ball handlers pocket clean and another on a fast break, as he hustled back to swiped down on the ball for a layup attempt knocking the ball off their knee.
Chick-Fila-Classic - Columbia, SC - 12/29/2018
Struggled shooting the ball today as he faced double and triple teams every time he touched the ball across half court. He didn't seem to let the game come to him as he forced several bad shots and tried to dribble through traffic. On the few plays when the defense missed their assignments on him, he made them pay by showcasing a quick release on his jump shot and exploding to the basket off the dribble. Overall this was the worst I've seen him play.
Dr. Pepper Classic - Chattanooga, TN - 2/2/2019
Another game where he was double-teamed for the majority of the game but this time he made quick and decisive decisions. He moved the ball to the open teammate when double and when he wanted to attack off the dribble, he didn't let them get set, he would pick a defender and go. I was impressed with his defense as he was able to deflect several passes to start the fastbreak as well as picking off a few crosscourt attempts. His elite athleticism was on his play as he had several spectacular breakaway dunks in transition.
McDonald's All-American - Atlanta, GA - 3/25-27/2019
His week didn't start off so great, in first practice he struggled to shoot the ball from the perimeter, he appeared to be pressing a bit but the great thing about Anthony is he always competes which made up for the lack of shot-making and allowed him to still make an impact overall. He steadily improved at every practice that followed and by the time the scrimmage started he was the best player on the court. He was knocking down pull-up 3's, got out in transition for dunks, created off the dribble to get into the lane, and found his teammates for easy layup and dunks. The next day in the official game it was much of the same.
