Kowacie is an explosive guard with a smooth shooting stroke on the perimeter. He does not hesitate to take a shot. Reeves has extreme confidence in his jumper proving that he can make tough shots in the most crucial moments. With his ability to stroke it from the perimeter, Reeves uses his explosive first step to get to the rim or use a simple one dribble pull-up. In transition he knows how to run his lane well and make himself available. He plays with a high motor even on the defensive end of the court, he is a pesky on-ball defender. Kowacie has great potential to be a great role player at the next level providing scoring and defense, however it is in his best interest to put more on more muscle to become stronger when getting bumped in the paint. Being a guard at the next level, Kowacie will also have to be more wise in his shot selection.
